On this trip of a lifetime, sail to the Far North and experience unforgettable polar regions — and the phenomenon of the midnight sun — in the Arctic Circle. Begin in Reykjavík, Iceland, and board the deluxe small ship Atlas World Voyager for a luxurious 9-night cruise. Sail to Vigur Island and navigate the unforgettable fjords of Greenland. Then explore islands in Norway’s Svalbard archipelago. Cruise along spectacular icy coastlines, keeping your eyes peeled — and binoculars and cameras at the ready — for polar bears, walrus colonies and a plethora of arctic bird species.

Six different seal species have been spotted in these waters, and 14 different species of whales! In addition to wildlife, enjoy vistas that are simply spectacular — sharp cliffs, jagged mountains, immense frozen glaciers and, of course, icy seas. Program includes a flight from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, to Oslo, Norway. Enhance your incredible adventure with an optional pre-program extension in Reykjavik and/or a post-program extension in Oslo.

Below are physical expectations required to fully enjoy the journey. We, and the tour operator, are happy to discuss the physical needs of this trip to ensure the best fit. Should you reserve space, be sure to share with the tour operator physical accommodations you may need i.e. CPAP machine, hearing aid for listening device, special medicine, etc.
