On this trip, take kayak outings exploring the quiet bays and coastlines of towering ancient trees, hike rocky trails high into the mountains for incredible views and venture deep into the forest along rugged trails and salmon streams to explore new ecosystems — all while aboard our nimble, 62-guest expedition ships. See humpback whales, brown bears and bald eagles, and search for killer whales in the wildlife-rich channels between islands and sure-footed mountain goats along the cliffs in steep fjords.

Call in at the small town of Haines where active options abound: hike gorgeous Mt. Riley, take a bicycle ride around a glacial lake, try fly-fishing for salmon and trout, or visit the ancient Tlingit village of Klukwan and enjoy a traditional dance and cultural performance before setting off on a rafting excursion. Explore under the guidance of an expedition leader, five veteran naturalists, including a Lindblad Expeditions–National Geographic certified photo instructor, plus a wellness specialist — the largest and most knowledgeable expedition team in Alaska. Their knowledge and passion are the key to your once-in-a-lifetime experience.
