Thrill to Egypt’s eternal allure on this exciting, 10–night adventure. Revel in the magnificence of ancient Egypt guided by a licensed, expert Egyptologist who accompanies you on all excursions. Enjoy five nights in Cairo, one night in Luxor and a four–night Nile cruise aboard the deluxe Sanctuary Nile Adventurer on this small–group experience. You’ll wonder at the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza and step inside atmospheric tombs in the Valleys of the Kings and Queens.
Stroll through the awe–inspiring Temples of Luxor and Karnak, take in glittering treasures at the renowned Egyptian Museum, and marvel at the colossal Great Temple of Ramses II carved out of a mountain in Abu Simbel. In Cairo, visit its venerable mosques, Coptic churches and colorful bazaar. You’ll also learn how antiquities are preserved at the Luxor research center of The Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures of the University of Chicago. This active program features four flights within Egypt, including round–trip to Abu Simbel; deluxe and first–class hotels; and an ample meal plan with wine at dinner.
